Setra Coaches with exclusive 2+1 seating. Less is more.
Two Setra TopClass coaches for König’s Reisen.
With the new buses, the company from Wirges in Rhineland‑Palatinate has ten Setra TopClass coaches in its fleet – all equipped with exclusive 2+1 seating. According to the company, the five‑star vehicles, with glass roof and 30 travel seats, are now part of the largest German Setra bus fleet with this attractive seating comfort offering.
In addition to a host of driver assistance and safety systems, the three‑axle vehicles also have the innovative MirrorCam on board. The system transmits the images from the heated cameras to 15‑inch monitors on the A‑pillars. Lines displayed indicate the end of the vehicle and help the driver estimate the speed of approaching vehicles. The S 516 HDH are powered by OM 471 engines rated at 350 kW (476 hp) in conjunction with the GO 250‑8 MPS automated manual transmission.
König’s Reisen is a third‑generation partner of the Neu‑Ulm‑based bus brand and already had vehicles from all Setra model series in operation. Ten years ago, the Westerwald‑based company took delivery of the world’s first touring coach from the Setra TopClass with exclusive 2+1 seating – and has remained true to this offer of highly comfortable travel to this day.
Setra touring coaches from Geldhauser with only 27 seats each.
With four Setra ComfortClass S 516 HD/2, Geldhauser Linien- und Reiseverkehr GmbH is expanding its Premium‑Plus travel programme. The new luxury long‑distance coaches are rated five stars and each have 27 seats, arranged in the space‑saving 2+1 variant.
The four two‑axle vehicles with glass roof have free Wi‑Fi access and have individually equipped rear kitchens with two coffee makers, refrigerator, dishwasher and convection oven on board.
The Geldhauser Group, headquartered in Hofolding, Bavaria, currently employs 900 people and owns over 675 vehicles – from disability‑friendly minibuses to luxurious double‑decker buses for its own touring coach programme.
In addition to touring coaches, the company, founded in 1962, also has numerous Setra‑branded scheduled‑service buses in its fleet, which are used in scheduled‑service, school and professional transport in several districts around Munich.
