The 13.9 m long S 517 HD is equipped with 40 leather seats, 16 of which are arranged facing each other at four tables. Depending on requirements, the Setra ComfortClass coach can be converted to 36 seats with six tables.

The exclusively equipped vehicle features a kitchen unit with beer dispenser, coffee machine with milk cooler, microwave grill/convection oven, dishwasher and three refrigerators with freezer compartments. A special catering container keeps food warm while on the move. A multimedia system transmits videos to four 21 inch monitors to provide entertainment and information for guests from business, politics, sport and show business. There is a loudspeaker at each seat.

The black‑painted coach with tinted windows for more privacy is available for rentals, charter and shuttle services and is used, among other things, as a conference bus for delegations of large industrial companies, as a tour bus for international stars and as a team vehicle for various sports teams.
