Stuttgart – For five years, the S 415 LE business bus has been in high demand with bus corporations in the whole of Europe. This is because the frugal, 12.3 metre long two-axle bus is the ideal combination of accessibility in the front section and a low-maintenance high-floor area in the rear. The efficient low-entry inter-city regular-service bus, often ordered from Setra for entire fleets (photo), thoroughly fulfils the constantly rising requirements of new equipment variants - especially for people with restricted mobility. Also, the bus, which can seat up to 49 passengers, fulfils virtually all relevant European tender specifications.

Elderly passengers and people with restricted mobility in particular can benefit from the low entry height, which is 345 mm at the front entrance with 295/80 R 22.5 tyres. For buses equipped with electronic level control, it is possible to reduce this height by up to 70 mm more, using the kneeling function. For entrance 2, a pneumatically operated outward swivelling single-wing door is available as standard. The door width of 1150 mm is well suited for wheelchair users.
